Good morning teacher and friends. First of all thank you for being present for this talk of mine.
Allow me to introduce myself. I am zaity. The school librarian. I feel honoured to be invited to talk to you about our library block.
Today I'm going to persuade you guys to join me In a campaigne to save the-80-year-old library block.
Libraries are important conerstones of a healthy community. Libraries give people the oppoturnity to find jobs , explore medical research, experience new ideas, feeling alive in wonderful stories, while at the same time providing a sense of place for gathering.
Not many school has the historic architectual features like our school own. But why they want to tear down the 80-year-old library block?
Here are few reasons and benefits about our school library.
First, our library has been build in 1993. It has so many history on it. We use to studies together when it come to recess time or exam test. The library is often the only readyly available source of comprehensive information needed by people for personal, family and job-related purposes.
Then I think we use a lot of things in our library Am I right? Because here is the place where we get all the information there. Furthemore where can we find the historical features like our school library do?
Where else can we find the historic library like this? It such a waste if we tear down the-80-year-old library because the next generation also can't see the historic building like we do. What can they see is just the moden building without history on it.
I hope we can change the dicision about to tear down our library. Thank you for your attention and I hope that you will join me to persuade all the students here.
